I have had so many emotions the past few weeks as we are experiencing a reality that feels like it is out of a movie. As I watch on social media and connect with other Mamas, we are all feeling it. On my hardest days, I remind myself how lucky we are for all that we have, and the way this whole situation has really united us.
One thing that I was starting to get sad about was the social distancing and the effect on Easter. But as I started to put things in perspective, I thought about how important the precautions that we are taking are, and all the celebrations we will have ahead of us. In the mean time, we have a responsibility to our littles to create memories they will never forget during a time we will always remember. We can’t control what is going on in the world, but we can control the experience our kids have right now!
So we may have to skip the big family gatherings and the annual picture with the big guy (which I am definitely sad about), I will be helping the Easter Bunny make this holiday extra magical. I am so excited to get the celebrating going with some Easter themed activities this month. I will be choosing activities that will predominately include stuff we should have on hand or can easily (and safely) get our hands on!
So grab your plastic eggs and last years Easter grass and lets start making some memories with the babes!
