Remington loves any type of painting project. Today, we had some time to spare before dinner so I pulled up this Shamrock Art from The Simple Parent. This called for marshmallows and tooth picks, but I switched those for poms and clothes pins! See below how easy this was to throw together!

Supplies needed:
- White Cardstock or Canvas
- Shamrock Cut Out (cut out on the Cricut, or you can print and cut one easily from a quick Google Search!)
- Pom Poms & Clothes Pins (can also be done with toothpicks and marshmallows, dot sponges from a craft store or even cotton balls, anything that will make a dot!)
- Tape
Using the tape, attach the shamrock to the white cardstock. Just use a small amount, as you will remove the shamrock as soon as you are done painting!
Let your little go to town with the paint, making dots all over. Make sure to overlap the dots on the shamrock, so the outline will appear when the shamrock is removed.
Remington loved to see the dot shapes appear as he painted. He struggled a little at first to keep the pom on the clothespin, but he got the hang of it!
When the white is mostly covered, remove the shamrock (gently, to ensure the paper doesn’t rip).
There you have it, simple Shamrock Dot Art! Let me know what you and your littles loved, or any changes you made below!
